about Tyson Schulte
Tyson Schulte is an independent singer-songwriter focusing on country & alternative country music. He grew up in Northern Illinois on the outskirts of the Quad Cities. He spent his time raising show cattle and hogs, hunting, and dedicating his time to 4-H and FFA. He wasn’t aware of any musical talent he might have had until belting “Strawberry Wine” by Deanna Carter at a college party. He taught himself guitar while at college, and participated in many karaoke nights and contests. He won the Illinois State Fair Karaoke Contest 2 years in a row, earning the opportunity to open up for Toby Keith, Craig Morgan, Kendall Marvel, Brooks & Dunn, Tracy Lawrence, and Confederate Railroad. After winning for the second time and being featured in an article in the New York Times, he took it as a sign to pursue music seriously. Since then, he has released 7 singles, and gained a following of 90,000+ followers on social media. He is currently booking acoustic and full band performances across the Midwest.
